You know those days where you find yourself saying… “it’s dinner time already?? I have not even thought about it. What am i going to do?”  At that point Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, or any other fast food place is sounding very appealing. BE STRONG. Don’t let yourself succumb!

I got caught in that mode today and this is what I did. These ingredients are easy to have on hand and easy to whip up.

1. Rotisserie chicken- just buy at store, peel apart and put on plate

2. Hummus- get a spoon, scoop some up and put on plate

3. Tomatoes- wash off and place on plate

4. Kale/Mushroom/Garlic Saute- okay, this one will require about 3-5 minutes

*in  a pan, add 1 tablespoon oil (I used Macadamia Nut Oil- i will do a post soon about the best oils to use and the ones to stay away from).

*Add minced garlic- sauté for about 1 minuted

*Add mushrooms and kale (can use spinach as well)- sauté for a few more minutes until tender.

*Add to plate

WHALAA!!! YOU ARE DONE!! Grab a fork and dig in!

You are getting some serious nutrients and the right Macronutrients (Protein and healthy Fats). You want to focus on Lean and Green in the evenings as this will put your body in the fat burning mode. Kale, by the way, is one of the most nutrient dense foods you can have (I will be doing a post just on Kale very shortly).
