Julie – Owner

With 12 years of experience in the fitness industry, Julie is passionate about helping you achieve your fitness goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Her mission is to get you to “Commit To Be Fit,” making fitness become a part of your lifestyle and not just something you do “once in a while.” She will challenge, encourage and push you to surpass your mental and physical boundaries, while having fun at the same time. Julie is nationally certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), one of the top programs in the country. She is also a certified Nutritionist, (CNS). Julie earned her degree in Exercise and Sports Science, with an emphasis in Fitness Leadership, from the University of Utah (1998). Julie has developed and implemented programs for individuals focusing on strength training, weight loss, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, and nutrition. She has worked with high school students with special needs and with older adults helping them to regain and maintain their independence, perform their daily activities which enables them to enjoy a better quality of life. She has completed the Bone Builder Training (2010),through the University of Arizona, focusing on educating people on adjusting their dietary and exercise habits to reduce the risk of osteoporosis. She has conducted numerous fitness camps for kids and is a frequent guest speaker on nutrition and various fitness topics. She has also worked with corporations to implement corporate fitness programs, which have been shown to improve the quality of work, morale and fitness of their employees. She has worked with athletes of different ages and various sports teams focusing on sport specific training. These athletes noticed improvements in their speed, quickness, power, strength, agility, flexibility and balance, giving them that extra edge on their competition. Julie played basketball at the University of Utah where she was an All-American, All-Conference and WAC MVP. She has been inducted into the University of Utah Hall of Fame. She played 3 years professionally in Switzerland and in the WNBA.

Lisa – Co-Founder

Lisa has been a certified personal trainer since 1996. She worked in a one-on-one capacity for the first 10 years, training people to change their lives in local gyms across Arizona. She added group fitness to her resume by becoming a Fitness Trainer at the Training Academy at a major metropolitan fire department. She continued to train individuals to reach their goals, preparing recruits to enter the academy in tip top shape as well as teaching them and their families balance and the importance of working together as a family to make fitness a part of their lifestyle. Lisa has spoken across the state on fitness and currently leads the FireFit Kids Program and FireUp for Life Program, an older adult fitness program run by her fire department. Lisa was a Division 1 basketball player for Arizona State University. She is a Captain/Paramedic for the Phoenix Fire Department. Lisa is experienced and well rounded in the field of fitness is excited to be a part of the Premium Training team. Lisa Jones, B.S., CEP, PT

Kyle – Instructor

I have enjoyed fitness for over 10 years now. I played high school baseball and then moved on to the more extreme sport of dirt bike and mountain bike racing. Certified for a year, I have found my passion. I am certified through the National Personal Training Institute. The school gave me an edge on what to expect in the fitness world by giving me a hands on experience in personal and group training settings. I enjoy helping everyone feel accomplished after a tough workout. I personally enjoy doing all types of circuit and endurance training. I like to keep things fun and challenging! I currently participate in xc mountain bike racing and know that hard work and a great training regimen is not only the key to winning, it’s the ticket to a healthy life!
